  • Hook size 3.00 mm

  • Scissors and needle

MATERIALS:

  • Alpaca yarn (1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 183 yds (167 m))

  • Gold yarn for decoration

  • Polystyrene foam eggs 7 cm

1. round: Start with 6 sc in magic ring (6)

2. round: *1 inc* x 6 (12)

3. round: *1 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (18)

4. round: 1 sc in each stitch (18)

5. round: *2 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (24)

6-7. round: 1 sc in each stitch (24) - 2 rounds

8. round: *3 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (30)

9-11. round: 1 sc in each stitch (30) - 3 rounds

12. round: *4 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (36)

13-17. round: 1 sc in each stitch (36) - 5 rounds

Fill in the egg

18. round: *4 sc, 1 dec* x 6 (30)

19-20. round: 1 sc in each stitch (30) - 2 rounds

21. round: *3 sc, 1 dec* x 6 (24)

22. round: *2 sc, 1 dec* x 6 (18)

23. round: *1 sc, 1 dec* x 6 (12)

 

Cut the yarn and sew the rest of the egg together through the back loop all the way around. Fasten off. Sew on any details you’d like - I made circles of gold and alpaca yarn.
