  • 8/4 cotton yarn (weight/length: 50 g = approx 160 m)

  • Teddy bear stuffing

  • Wooden ring size 4.00 cm

OWL

 

Yarn: The color is optional, but I used light pink

1. round: Start with 6 sc in magic ring (6)

2. round: 1 inc in each stitch (12)

3. round: *1 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (18)

4. round: *2 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (24)

5. round: *3 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (30)

6. round: *4 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (36)

7. round: *5 sc, 1 inc* x 4 (42)

8-.27. round: 1 sc in each stitch (42) - 20 rounds in total.

Change the color between round 18 and 19. I changed to cream.

 

Crochet another 1-3 single crochets so that you are directly over the color change. Fill the owl with stuffing and a rattle ball. Fold the owl so that the color change is to the side. Crochet the owl together with single crochets trough both loops on both sides along the top. Do not cut the yarn, but continue to make the strap for the wooden ring. Start with a chain 1 and turn:

 

1. row: Make 4 sc (4). Chain 1 and turn.

2-7. row: 1 sc in each stitch (4) - 6 rows in total

Cut the yarn and leave a long string for assembling. Sew the strap around the wooden ring. Fasten off.

 

WINGS

 

Yarn: The color is optional, but I used orange

1. round: Start with 6 sc in magic ring (6)

2. round: *1 inc* x 6 (12)

Yarn: The color is optional, but I used cream

3. round: 2 dc ITSS, 2 hdc ITSS, 3 sc, 2 hdc ITSS, 2 dc ITSS, 2 hdc ITSS, 3 sc, 2 hdc ITSS (18)

Yarn: The color is optional, but I used light pink

4. round: 2 dc ITSS, 2 hdc ITSS, 2 hdc ITSS, 4 sc, 2 hdc ITSS, 2 hdc ITSS, 2 dc ITSS, 2 hdc ITSS, 2 hdc ITSS, 4 sc, 2 hdc ITSS, 1 sc, finish with 1 ss (27)

Cut the yarn and leave a long string for assembling. Fasten off all ends except the last end you cut. Sew the wings on the owl covering your color change on the owl and on the opposite side.

 

Embroider the beak and eyes and make the little fringes.

Garn: Farven er valgfri, men jeg brugte lyserød

1. omgang: Start med 6 fm i magisk ring (6)

Skift farve mellem omgang 18 og 19. Jeg skiftede til råhvid.

Hækl yderligere 1-3 fastmasker, så du ender præcis over dit farveskift. Fyld uglen med lidt bamsefyld og en raslekugle. Fold uglen så din sidste maske er i den ene side sammen med dit farveskift. Hækl uglen sammen langs toppen gennem begge maskeled på begge sider med fastmasker. Klip ikke garnet, men fortsæt med at lave stroppen til træringen. Start med at vende med 1 lm:

 

1. række: Hækl 4 fm (4) Vend med 1 lm

2-7. række: 1 fm i hver maske (4) - 6 rækker i alt

Klip garnet og efterlad lang snor til montering. Sy stroppen omkring din træring. Hæft ende.

Klip garnet og efterlad lang snor til montering. Hæft alle ender undtagen den sidste du klippede. Sy vingerne på uglen så den ene dækker dit farveskift og den anden er direkte på modsatte side.

Broder næb og øjne og lav de små frynser.
