EASTER EGG ORNAMENT

TOOLS: 

  • Hook size 2.50 mm

  • Scissors and needle

MATERIALS:

  • 8/4 cotton yarn (weight/length: 50 g = approx 160 m)

  • Gold yarn for decoration

  • Polystyrene foam eggs 4 cm

You can make them however you wish. I use three colors and change accordingly to the example below.

1. round: Start with 6 sc in magic ring (6)

2. round: *1 inc* x 6 (12)

3. round: 1 sc in each stitch (12)

4. round: *1 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (18)

5. round: 1 sc in each stitch (18)

6. round: 1 sc in each stitch (18)

7. round: *2 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (24)

8. round: 1 sc in each stitch (24)

9. round: 1 sc in each stitch (24)

10. round: 1 sc in each stitch (24)

11. round: 1 sc in each stitch (24)

12. round: 1 sc in each stitch (24)

Fill in the egg

13. round: *2 sc, 1 dec* x 6 (18)

14. round: 1 sc in each stitch (18)

15. round: *1 sc, 1 dec* x 6 (12)

Cut the yarn and leave a bit of string to sew the last part. Sew through the back loop all the way around and pull tight. Fasten off. Sew on the gold details if you wish.

Fyld ægget i arbejdet

Klip garnet og efterlad snor til at sy den sidste del sammen. Sy gennem det forreste maskeled hele vejen rundt og træk til så hullet lukkes. Hæft ende. Sy gulddetaljerne på og lav ophænget.
