Hook 2.50 mm - yarn: Beige

1. round: Start with 12 dc in magic ring

3. round: *1 dc, 1 inc* (36)

4. round: *2 hdc, 1 inc* (48)

5. round: Crab stitch all the way around.

Cut the yarn and fasten off.

​

1. round: Start with 6 sc in magic ring

2. round: 1 inc in each stitch (12)

3. round: *1 sc, 1 inc* (18)

4. round: *2 sc, 1 inc* (24)

6. round: *4 sc, 1 inc* (36)

9-17. round: 1 sc in each stitch (48) - 9 rounds

Cut the yarn, but leave long string for assembling.

LEAF

Hook 2.50 mm - yarn: Green

​

Chain 9 and start in the second loop from the hook by crocheting the following:

2 sc in the same stitch, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tr, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, (1 sc, 1 ss, 1 sc) in the same stitch. Continue on the opposit side of the chain: 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc. Join the round.

 

Chain one and continue: 1 ss, 1 ss, 1 picot, ss in the next 3 stitches, 1 picot, 1 ss, 1 picot, 1 ss, 1 ss, 1 picot, 3 ss, 1 picot, ss til the end and join with a ss.

 

Cut the yarn and fasten off. Make one or two.

Hook 2.00 mm - yarn: Red

1. round: 4 sc in magic ring

2. round: *1 sc, 1 inc* x 2 (6)

Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for assembling. Make two or three.

 

WHITE DETAIL

Hook 2.50 mm - yarn: White

1. round: Start with 6 sc in magic ring (6)

2. round: 1 inc in each stitch (12)

3. round: *1 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (18)

4. round: *2 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (24)

5. round: *3 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (30)

6. round: *4 sc, 1 inc* x 6 (36)

7. round: *Chain 3, skip a stitch, ss* x 18

Cut the yarn and leave string to assembling.

​

ASSEMBLING

Cut a round piece of cardboard, and glue it to the wrong side of the cake bottom. Sew the white decoration on to the cake top, and add the leafs and berries. Fill the cake top and sew it together with the bottom so that the crab stitch is still showing.

MONTERING

Klip et rundt stykke pap, og lim det fast på vrangsiden af kagebunden. Sy den hvide dekoration, blade og bær på kagetoppen. Fyld kagetoppen og sy den sammen med bunden, så krabbemaskerne stadig vises.
